One afternoon in March i took some photos of my friend’s band Phonograph. I thought my shots were fairly mediocre, so i never posted any. Looking back this evening i found a few decent ones.
They’re playing a show this Thursday 8th June at The Annandale alongside I (Love) Space, Skull Squadron and Richard in Your Mind.
They’re cool Dan. I like the pedestrian-crossing one. It’s got an ‘Abbey Rd’/’Five leaves left’ vibe goin’ on.
The photo with the dogs is pretty tidy, too.
Did you borrow them off a bemused passer-by?
‘Excuse me, can these 4 gentlemen borrow all 5 of your dogs?…we’re trying to tap into the female, 16-21 demographic’….Who isn’t!
They were pretty good when they supported my mate’s band Altona at their EP launch a while ago at the Hopetoun – and my favourite is the pedestrian crossing.
Blake – that’s exactly how it happened. It was St Patricks day and there was a get-together happening in Hyde Park. A breeder of Irish Setters was there, dogs in tow. We just asked to borrow her dogs for a moment to take a snapshot.
nice photos Dan, especially the crossing shot. Really nice!
I didn’t realise Steve had a new band, what happened with Acrobat?
a handsome bunch of boys especially the blond (Scandinavian looking) one
