Splendour photos: The People, The Mud

The people – the life of any festival.

This is the final installment of my Splendour in the Grass photos.

About a dozen of my shots were in Drum this week to accompany their Splendour review, but it’s nice to be able to share the whole lot of them here.

The mud was everywhere. I didn’t take gumboots so spent 2 days trudging round in muddy, wet Converse.

  1. Was that last photo taken of the crowd at the Grant McLennan stage? It’s the only photo I find unfamiliar.

  2. Re: 2 days in muddy wet converse – so did I. You’d think we’d know better by now. Love the shots.

  3. I kissed my volleys goodbye after the weekend. I washed and tumble dried them on saturday night so they were wearable… but by monday morning it wasn’t really worth it – especially when I have a contact in a part of sydney where they are $11!! – we is getting ripped off with $30 volleys in the inner city!
