I took some photos at the launch of You Am I‘s new album Convicts at Hyde Park Barracks last night. I’m not sure if i’m allowed to post the proper photos yet, but here’s a few odd shots i snapped off while there.
In other news, i heard today that my website is being preserved in the National Library of Australia’s online archives. All those drunken party photos being indefinitley preserved in our nations archives, who’d a thunk it?
love the pics… but the kicker to the post is that you are being preserved…
amazing….
so are they going to start teaching the boud way of life in schools now đ
are you going to be at the Surry Hills Festival tomorrow? congratulations on your preservation!
I was wondering when your photo’s would be archived, and then you go and tell us they just had. Well done. Was only a matter of time.
Well in generations to come at least people will know that everyone didn’t vote for the rodent and all culture didn’t come in a can.
Congrats!
I asked PictureAustralia (http://www.pictureaustralia.org) if they wanted any of my photos from the live music scene in Melbourne and they said they wouldn’t accept them. I haven’t heard back from the Pandora archive yet so if my site goes down there will be no permanent record of any of the gigs I have been to.
Tim, anyone can get listed in PictureAustralia by uploading your photos to Flickr and adding them to their group.
I don’t know how Pandora makes their selections, i was just contacted out of the blue.
hi dan,
these are lovely, the aussie shoes & bag in particular… nice to see your not band photos… and nice to hear it’s being archived… congratulations…
