Heading towards the Sydney Opera House on a ferry full of Life Savers
The Sydney Opera House turned 40 last week and i was fortunate to be commissioned to photograph some of the celebrations.
It started with an event named “Cake and Song” on the Opera House forecourt. My role began on a ferry from Rose Bay to the Opera House on board with 40 life savers and then ended photographing the formalities on the Opera House steps.

Since the Opera House was designed by a Dane, Jørn Utzon, much of the celebrations had a Danish edge to them, most notably with Denmark’s Crown Prince Couple, Frederik and Mary in attendance.

These are some stunning photos of the event and just the Sydney Harbour/Opera House in General. I would have loved to see Katy Perry up that close she looks so pretty! Princess Mary looks great also
