I’ve been photographing backstage at Romance Was Born‘s Australian Fashion Week shows since 2008 and every year it’s extraordinary – a colourful mix of the best fashion, models, hair, makeup, styling, set design, music – the whole shebang.
This year I was lucky enough to set up a paper roll backstage away from the jostling elbows of press photographers to get some one on one looks with the models before they strode down the catwalk.
