It was quite a thrill shooting U2, plus a show of this scale.
This weekend past i saw them play in Melbourne. No photos, it was from the comfort of a seat this time. It was actually better than i expected, the sound was pristine and the view was better than GA. Still wish i was taking photos though.

it’s funny though that whenever i see adam clayton, i can’t help but think of that sketch on the chaser’s war on everything.
Bono’s too much of a media whore nowadays.
Its all about the politics and not enough about the music.

Matt – i didn’t purposefully keep that silhouette from the triple j gallery, it wasn’t one of my inital faves. For our position we started right on the end of the catwalk stage, where Bono enters draped in the flag. We could then move round it, but not towards the main stage, off to the side on the right.
Loving those last two in particular. Whenever I’m at a concert in Sydney now I check to see if you’re one of the photographers, but so far I don’t think our schedules have crossed. I like your posed work, and it’s improving over time, but the live stuff is gifted. Keep up the good work!
Dude…The Edge is one Sexy man. The way he moves with his guitar…WOW!!! Man I’d like to wake up with that tall drink of irish between my sheets. He has got such a nice ass.
