Panic! at the Disco

While i couldn’t name you a single song by Panic! at the Disco, i know they’re hot property right now, gracing the cover of SPIN, selling their shows out in record time and sending teenagers into a frenzy everywhere. So i was excited to photograph their Sydney show.

The shots didn’t turn out as great as i’d hoped. Unusually low stage light for The Hordern Pavillion, combined with a singer that moves around at a frenetic pace makes for tough job taking photos.

  1. You got some alright shots, Dan. More diversity than mine. The lighting was really hard to work with here, as well.
    You’re right, Brendon was crazy on stage. I kept wishing I had have asked for the show with the smaller stage, ha

  4. I think I’m officially old, looking at this band and listening to their music all I can think is “fucking myspace kids”.
    One month before my 27th birthday, and I’ve hit middle age. Excuse me, I have to go and wait for tickets to the next Eagles tour to go on sale.

  6. I was up the front talking to you photogs. You saw how old I was, right? It’s pretty standard at most gigs these days. Everyone my age is too old/boring/married etc. to bother with gigs, I think.
