Here’s some photos from the Legs 11 concert held a couple of weeks ago in the domain.
It’s a lovely civilised affair held in the park in the shadow of the city. Acts on the bill included Missy Higgins, The Waifs, Paul Kelly, Blue King Brown and Nathan from Faker playing an acoustic set. Also on the bill was ‘No Man’s Woman’, a collective of artists who appear on the No Man’s Woman compilation album.
Proceeds from the concert go to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.

Hi Meesh – if you uploaded your shots to Flickr in a way that the EXIF data was visible i could provide better feedback. There’s some good ones there, but a number aren’t particularly sharp, but i can’t tell why that might be.
i think you’re the 6th photographer whose work i’ve seen from legs 11. the blue king brown one is great, the warmness is really nice. is that just 5D picture style goodness or a little post processing?
No post processing, i think it could be the rather lovely 70-200 lens at work.

No Man’s Woman is easily the best compilation / covers album I’ve heard in a long while.. We were sent a promo copy to review at I’m With The Band and it’s barely been out of my cd player since..
I really wanted to like that album but i was rather disappointed. I think i’m too in love with the original versions. It’s such a strong set of songs, but the conviction in the vocals seems to be gone from most of the covers.
