Here’s a bunch of photos of the crowd from Splendour in the Grass.
I’ve got a lot of admiration for these kids that manage to squeeze themselves right to the front of the barrier at a music festival.
You’ve got to deal with hours of waiting, dehydration, not eating, not going to the loo, sweaty people, crowd surfers kicking you in the head and sleazy security guards.
But from looks of rapture from the front row as the crowd sings along and soaks up the sight of their favourite band it’s all worth it in the end.
Lots more in my Splendour atmosphere gallery.
i reckon you’ll do an exhibition one day of your large collection of “front row” shots!
Maybe i will…
And they all manage to look so stylish, too! Impressive.
How do you make people look so good? I mean seriously your camera must come loaded with automatic photoshop cause everyone knows that if you’ve been at a festival all day and have been up the front for hours you don’t look like a model. Give us a bit of reality Dan.
