Dan,
Do you know what the idea was behind the My Disco photos? For some reason I REALLY don’t like them. They remind me of high-brow, arty car adverts and I keep expecting a 4×4 to zoom past.
I don’t know the idea behind it – but this review suggests that it’s a metaphor for the minimalism in the music.
Perhaps it’s in the tradition of desert music photos.
