Here’s some snaps i took a few weeks ago of Pip Brown aka Ladyhawke.
We wandered the streets round the Modular offices looking for interesting backdrops. I just had a short amount of time in her day of doing back-to-back press and radio interviews. It was a typical rush.
I wish i’d coaxed more personality out of her. She looks uncharacteristically miserable. I blame myself for that. Not that i made her miserable, but it’s my job to tease more out of my subject.
Unless you’ve been living under a rock you’d know her debut album is out now. Pop gems galore.

Nice set, just got her album yesterday and I really dig it she has a good sound.
This girl rrrrrocks. Saw her in Edinburgh last week and she was brilliant.

She does look a bit grumpy – but then proper rockstars should always be slightly surly.
